Cnatural is an online platform based on chemical libraries of natural products, which can be used as components in food supplements. Cnatural database contains over 180.000 natural compounds from different public databases containing different levels of information. In addition, it provides information about each compound’s (i) in vitro activity on specific biological targets, (ii) in vivo activity, if any, (iii) relation with a pathological condition, (iv) plant origin, (v) appearance in the label of a commercial product, (vi) presence in a commercial product, (vii) vendor information. Cnatural has representations of 2D and 3D structures of each compound, physicochemical properties of compounds (i.e. molecular weight, lipophilicity) and shows similar compounds occurring from structural similarity search. Various threshold values can be used for the similarity search through a specific field (default value is 0,8). The platform provides the capability of downloading the data in 4 different file types (.pdf, .csv, .xls, .html). Information about specific compounds can be found by using the tab Compounds. Also, via the tab Conditions, information about compounds associated with a pathological condition can be retrieved by typing the condition’s name. Developed by Cloudpharm
